Sorry about the lack of requests lately. An interesting bug has arisen that Danielisacrab has just noticed.

The server that has all the DJ user accounts on is not the one the small box loads, so your requests have been sent to the wrong site containing only one user, thus the DJs have been unable to receive requests since Friday, maybe before.

We’re working our best to reconnect everything. Thanks for your patience.

Last week Riot Games announced on their site:

“As of today, 15 million people have registered to become League of Legends players. Each month, over 4 million people log in to play. And on each day, 1.4 million summoners play League of Legends together.”

Not too shabby is it? Well I know someone who isn’t too glad about the news – S2 Games has responded to the news by announcing Heroes of Newerth as now gone Free to Play.

Those who have already purchased the game will now have ‘Legacy’ status allowing them to purchase priory access to certain characters for the first month of release and the ability to ‘filter’ the F2P accounts from their games, the community is not happy – would you be?

So in case you’ve been living under a rock for most of the year, then you may or may not have noticed the huge presence of Super Hero related films. From Thor, to Captain America, these films have all been part of a greater plot to prepare us for the Avengers Movie next year. Also included in this is Iron Man and the Hulk, whose movies were released over the course of the past two to three years.

The Humble Indie Bundle is now in it’s third incarnation, for those of you that don’t know what this is it’s a come together of Indie Devs and charities giving a selection of titles where YOU set the price and your money gets split between both charities and developers in which again you set the way it’s done.

This time around on offer is VVVVVV, And Yet It Moves, Cogs, Hammerfight and Crayon Physics Deluxe DRM free and as always redeemable on Stream and Desura, but now Minecraft’s Notch, who is currently topping the donation charts (as he did last year) has now thrown to everyone who donates at any amount Minecraft, full and free until the 14th of August..

So even if you were going to donate (you WILL donate BTW) and were on the fence with Minecraft – now is the time to dip you toe into the water, oh and expect our server to explode by the weekend.

So it’s been a while since I posted an article, and I really do apologise. However, what’s in the past should stay there and I am back with this article to kick things off.

Nintendo have recently announced that the 3DS will be receiving a price cut in Japan, America and Australia that will come into effect as of the 11th of August in Japan and the 12th of August in America and Australia. The price in Japan will go down from 25000, to 15000 Yen. In America it will go down from $249.99 to $169.99 and finally in Australia it will go down from AU$349.95, to AU$250.00.

A price drop for Europe has yet to be announced.

Personally, I think this is a great excuse to get a 3DS if you haven’t already bought one. Though, if I’m being truly honest, I will be saving my money for a Playstation Vita that will be released sometime towards the end of the year.

Activision’s Prototype 2’s release date has been announced, as well as the first public showings of the game at Comic-Con. April 24, 2012 has been confirmed for the game’s street date, with a new trailer to add to the excitement:

It’s nice to see that the sequel is getting a little more attention than it’s precursor. Prototype 2 sees you take on the role of a new character, James Heller, fighting your way through a disease-ridden New York City on a quest to kill the first game’s protagonist, Alex Mercer.

The question is, will they form an alliance to fight against their real enemy?

As many of you may have noticed for the past 2 weeks we have been lacking DDO videos, the issue with that is poor KittycatJack’s PC practically melted on him losing a video or two that we recorded before it happened, I attempted to record my own, but it was that bad it will never EVER be published!

Two bits of good news Jack’s PC is sort of up and running but it’ll be a week until we can get recording again and second Froggy and Blobbin have taken up the challenge for now to ‘RP’ within DDO their own series ‘Adventures of Axeall Rose and Sidekick’
