Tap Frog is a puzzle game from Playmous. It features lots of mini-games that you get points for. Points build up to stars, and stars can be used to open further mini-games. The mini-games are all deceptively simple to learn but devilishly difficult to master, such as painting all the frogs the same colour or using two buttons to fly the fog and collect stars. The graphics are very cute, and I was surprised at how well it ran on my phone without sucking up battery and memory.
I give this game Dru points as I’m not very into puzzles, but it was a good game regardless.
The Hardest Game Ever is another puzzle game similar to Tap Frog, this time made by Orangenose Studio. Again it is filled with deceptively simple mini-games, such as tickling feet or saying who has won in a game of rock, paper, scissors. Each game is controlled by just three buttons and you are graded on how well you do. The more ‘super’ grades you get, the most mini-games will get unlocked. As with Tap Frog, the games are simple to learn, but difficult to master. The graphics are cartoony, and once again it wasn’t a resource hog, so it gets the same rating as Tap Frog, a solid Dru points.
